It was the night of the Dance. I really wanted to throw my dog tags into the box, but Helo convinced me I shouldn't. Instead? He decided to call out the Major and I got to watch with Kara from the sidelines as the two of them fought each other. At first, I wasn't too sure why Helo was so into it. It seemed like he was out for blood, but when he came back to me and I was rubbing his shoulders, he told me he felt like it was the other way around. That, for whatever reason, the Major was the one trying to kill Karl.

That was pretty much when we both figured out that somehow, someway, the Major had figured out what had happened when all the Cylons had died on Galactica. We didn't say anything, either of us; we just looked at each other and knew. Who else knew, I wasn't sure, but Apollo had figured out that my husband was the one who had killed the infected Cylons that we were holding onboard.

I still don't think it was the right thing to do. Genocide, no matter what the reason, is never right. Was I supposed to feel better that I was going to live? That out of all the frakking Cylons in the galaxy, I wouldn't get infected by the virus once the sick Cylons downloaded into the Resurrection Ship and began spreading it? It's frakking biological warfare. Are they our enemies? Yes. I have never said that they aren't. But when Helo told me Lee's… Major Adama's plan to wipe them all out?

I think that was the reason I wanted to throw my dog tags into the box, just to get a few good punches at him. Instead, Helo decided to do it for us. [/Locked]

That's us, though, a team. And when Cottle looked at Major Adama, shook his head a few times, and Tigh called the match in Helo's favor? I couldn't help it. I jumped into my husband's arms, smiling, kissing him, and telling my "baby" how proud I was of him. It was great, really. Even better was the fact that Kara was right there next to me, ringside, watching the whole thing and cheering on Helo, too. Her grin was about as big as mine.

So, one good turn deserves another, I figured. When she called out the Major and they had their Dance? I gave my friend the biggest smile I could. Hey, if he could get his ass handed to him twice in one day, I knew I'd be one happy girl.
