I wonder, sometimes, about what he thought when he first saw me. He being Chief, of course.
We’ve been through some ups and downs, but I guess nothing really compares to seeing a woman who looks like the dead woman you loved walk back into your life. Then again, maybe he never really loved Boomer the way that I imagine.
When I was locked up in that cell after the whole mess on Kobol, I thought the only human who would bother to see me would be Helo. I was carrying his child, so it was a pretty good reason. Some of the humans in charge of the Fleet would probably see me to interrogate me, too, but in terms of someone wanting to simply talk to me? Helo, and no one else.
It was pretty much the shock of my life when Chief walked up to the glass partition and stared at me.
