I feel like a prisoner of war, which, I suppose, I am. Still, I've proven myself over and over and I'm tired of answering their questions. I just want to rest. To sleep. But I'll answer your questions again, one more time, because you're all so very curious.

Hybrids. They're another form of a Cylon, but not one like me or Boomer. They're not really humanoid… you see, it's difficult to explain all of this to you. We wanted them to be human, but we failed. We were doing our best to move away from the mechanical nature that humans had made of Cylons into… me. Into something more human.

Into humanity.

Biological instead of mechanical. But we failed. The Hybrids turned out to be a first step towards the different models of Cylons that we have now, but we couldn't get rid of them, either.

Ironic, considering that the Cylon plan is to kill humanity.

We made enough Hybrids to control our baseships, and then we abandoned the project.
