There was a gun. Yelling. Sharon couldn't hear what was happening as she walked the gauntlet, but she did her best not to be scared. They needed her, she told herself. If she was really a Cylon like the frakker Dr. Baltar had said she was, then they would use her for interrogation. Instead Cally, Cally who she had always counted on to help both her and the Chief when they'd sneak away, Cally who was calm and sweet, Cally…? Sharon stared at her as she stepped out of the line and fired her weapon at point-blank range. Chief had her, though, cradled her, loved her (he loved her, he did, she knew it) and even though she knew this would be the end, she finally told him she loved him. A few last breaths, and she was gone.
And then she was awake.
Desperation. Sharon held her husband tightly to her and he held her back. Hera was alive, not dead as they'd been told, and the Cylon Basestar was so nearby. If Sharon could make it over there and kidnap her daughter, they would be a family again. Over a year of grieving would end, but she knew Helo's grief would just begin. He'd lost his daughter and the only way to gain her back would be to lose his wife as well. Sharon looked into his eyes and he fired his weapon at point-blank range. Blood splattered on the wall behind her as she slumped in his arms, Helo screaming to the gods with his wife, dead, in his hands.
And then she was awake.
Two of them meeting for the first time. Sharon ran to her daughter and knew that Hera had to be removed, had to have a human doctor take care of her, but Boomer wouldn't allow it. With her hand around the baby's neck, she began to squeeze, determined to make Sharon suffer for having the life that she'd always wanted. Instead, the Six known as Caprica attacked and snapped Boomer's neck. Sharon and Caprica escaped with Hera, leaving behind a cold, lonely, dead Boomer.
And then she was awake.
Sharon always knew she could count on her husband to take care of her, take care of things… to do the right thing despite all odds. She just never expected him to go so far. When the Lion's Head Beacon was discovered and Lee Adama came up with a plan to wipe out the entire Cylon race with a virus, everyone agreed it would work. Sharon remained silent, and soon Helo was off to the infected Cylon prisoners, determined to kill them all before Galactica was in reach of a Resurrection Ship. The infected Sharon was in pain, suffering, and then she felt nothing at all as she died peacefully.
She never woke up.
